What You Need to Know

Instruction and Operations

The UO is following public health guidance. COVID-19 safety plans, tools, and requirements to protect the UO community:

  • Check your symptoms. Don't come to campus sick.
  • Masks are welcome on campus.
  • Students and employees are highly recommended to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • If you have tested positive, develop symptoms, or think you have been exposed to COVID-19 should follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guide to determine whether isolation or testing is needed and appropriate next steps.

COVID-19 Testing

**The Monitoring and Assessment Program (MAP) ends on June 30, and its last day of operation was June 22.**

COVID-19 rest results from MAP will be available via the secure results portal until June 30, 2023. For questions or to request results until July 31st, email c19map@uoregon.edu.

If a student has viral symptoms and is unsure whether they need a medical evaluation, they should contact UHS at 541-346-2770 or their health care provider to determine if and where they should to be tested.

Before You Come to Campus

Self-check daily and if COVID-19 symptoms are present, you should not come to campus.

Wearing a mask indoors when around others is an effective personal strategy for reducing the risk of COVID-19.

Thorough hand washing and avoiding touching your face help prevent sickness.
